Viachem Appoints New Director For Marketing, Communications

Viachem, a specialty chemical supplier of food and beverage, personal care, pharmaceutical, neutraceutical and cosmeceutical industries, has appointed Mary Ann (MA) Hancook as director of marketing and communications.

Ms Hancook, most recently a short-term consultant and contractor, will join Viachem from Intervoice/Convergys where she was director of worldwide corporate communications. She has also headed marketing, business development, corporate communications and public relations for various technology companies and specialty retailers.

She has also served on the boards of several charities, is marketing and graphics advisor for the Dallas White Rock Marathon and The Mayor’s Race, and is an alumna of Indiana University.

Mike Efting, president of Viachem, said: “Viachem enjoys a unique position in the chemical distribution industry, and MA reinforces our team by adding the marketing and communications dimension.”
