AFC continues investing in quality systems

PBR Staff Writer Published 16 February 2012

AMPAC Fine Chemicals (AFC), a wholly owned subsidiary of American Pacific, has joined Rx-360 as an active member.

AFC is contributing to the Rx-360's joint audit pilot program as the first US-based active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) manufacturer to be audited.

AMPAC quality and regulatory affairs vice president Jeff Robinson said they continue to invest in quality systems and this is demonstrated by the successful inspections by the FDA, KFDA and EMA.

AFC president Aslam Malik said the successful audits by various regulatory agencies coupled with AFC joining Rx-360 substantiates their commitment to Quality and to AFC's Continuous Improvement Initiative.
